Photo 4) Faux-painted burl wood barrel drum and pow wow drum. Artistically this is one of my hardest finishes. Since it is difficult and no two are the same, I enjoy doing these. This simulated burl wood is a favorite of the many
interior decorators that I work with. |

Three layers of green paints and plaster give this large 44"x13" pow wow drum an antiqued look. Can be done in many other colors. |

This is absolutely one of the best drums that Ive made. It is a 46" barn wood pow wow and 20" deep. Solid and massive with an incredible sound. I worked hard to make this drum ring to the belly. |

Special red/green/black design to match specific furniture. Showing is a 36" pow wow drum and a few 15"x21" barrel drums. |

Frames drums. Alaskan Yellow Cedar frames with horse
or elk hides. Click
here for prices. You build your own kits available with video instructions. If you live in a more humid climate than the Rockies (which is most probable), the kits will work better for you. Frame drums are susceptible to moisture. Their birth in the climate they will live in will make
for a better drum.
